Anchor retrieval

Vessels often lose their anchors when the chains become entangled with underwater objects. Quick action by our diving teams with the necessary equipment will make this event not a problem during your port call.

The main information required will be the coordinates where the anchor or chains were lost, the weight, and the delivery point.

As soon as we are positioned at the coordinates provided by the Master of your vessel, our diving team will use a scan sonar system to locate the lost anchor and/or chains. Some of our divers will begin to carefully submerge into the anchor in order to tie the lifting bags to it. Depending on the weight to be lifted, our divers will use different types of lifting bags to bring the anchor and/or chains to the surface.

Once the anchor and the chains are afloat, our team will tow the retrieved piece to the delivery point.
